Howdy! My name is Loren Bramhall. I was born in Dallas, Texas. There I was raised until my Dad enlisted into the military about seven years ago. I am 17 years old and am currently living at Fort Richardson, Alaska, the Army base located near Anchorage. My family living here is quite small compared to others; my Dad, obviously, my Mom, and my three younger siblings. The youngest two are twins, one boy, and one girl.
What is the scariest thing that has happened to me? I would have to say probably the scariest thing that has happened to me is to move here to Alaska, away from my family and away from everything I know and am used to. Going from year around warmth to almost year around freeze was a major adjustment for me. As for what I plan on doing in five and twenty years… I don’t know. I have not completely made up my mind on what I plan on doing for the rest of my life, or at least in the next twenty years. In five years, I do hope to be attending college, perhaps here in Alaska, to work towards whatever goal I finally set my sights upon.
My favorite song would probably have to be a country song named “Like my mother does”. As for my favorite food, I don’t have a particular favorite but I do love Mexican and any spicy foods. One of my life long dreams is to travel the world and see everything it has to offer. Three of the larger places I planned on visiting are France, Russia and Australia.
During the school year I don’t get much time to have to myself, nor do I have any spare time to just hang out with friends or laze around. I currently have a job, which takes up all of the free time I may have. In the summer, when there is no school or homework I take every opportunity I am given to be with my friends and go to the movies and shopping just to blow off some time.
I do believe that is all you need to know about me, other than the fact that I can be quite goofy and have a silly sense of humor. I hope you are looking forward to the exchange as much as I am.
