Tyson in FAI as per the gps at 5:11 to bad what happened to Tyler out of Tanana. Thought the reason for the scratch was the machines sorry to hear it was one of the riders. I'm sure Tyson is with his family and as always a big smile no mater how bad things might have been.
A lesson to all is to keep smiling as Tyson has shown a lot of us.

Peter and Tyler had the second fastest time from Tanana to Fairbanks today. You Rock Team #4,Demoski, Huntington!!!! Also the fastest rookie team from Tanana to Fairbanks was team #26 Huntington, Pelkola. We are proud of you, our own Yukon River boyz- way to rep.

Just watching this race was exciting and looking forward to seeing more of our Yukon River boyz out there next year.

Thank you all of the volunteers in the rural communities who made this race possible with the time keeping, places to stay, home cooked meals and great hospitality in each village. All of you people in the villages rock and you can pat yourselves on the back for a job well done. It was great to hear from Booba, David, Myron, Edgar, Ed, Billy H. Cynthia and many others that are numerous to name but who contributed a lot to this race. Updates from the Galena gurlz, fat boy, the sweetsirs, and many more people that were so much help to us at the hq. Take care and God bless you all with a great spring.

Yeah he will be alright - he knows what to do and have confidence that he will be alright - will go back to the hq after awhile and check on his status. Taking a break at home for awhile from hq. He talked to the guyz at the hq and they told him to call as he gets closer to fai.

It was funny I went back over to look for Dan and I wasn't even there for about ten minutes and he walks in looking tired but glad to be there. So they got him to a table to enjoy the rest of the evening at the banquet. I am just glad that he made it in and happy for his family that he was safe.

Take care all and God bless,

signing out till next year,

Good night and see you next year with the exception that I will see how I can help instead of complain. Great race even though my team didn't win but still great. I would like to see the iditarod break their own trail and no air support. lol. G N and good year.

Good job Tyson of #8. You should find another riding partner. this Tyler kid wipes out way too much & talks too much crap. Isn't this like the 2nd time in 3 years he's crashed. Maybe he needs to join the trail class or just retire. It's put up or shut up kid. Teams 18 & 5 congrats -- you did GREAT!! Be safe everyone & best wishes in everything you do.

Andrew Here from team 20. Friday night 10 miles out of Ruby James blew a piston, towed back to ruby and had some parts flown in on Saturday. but as we were tearing it down to put a new piston in, we notice the he had a hole in the crank case. leading us to scratch. almost there...but yet so far...we'll be back next Year!!!

Team 20...you should join the trail class...You boys set a record for slowest time ever..engines blow all the time, its kinda like Olstad wrecking and blowing his engine..but you dont hear him bitchin...I think that race seperated the men from the boys, expecially the last 2 days..you guys are still little boys...

WoW! To Anonymous @ 7:13...i don't think that Team 20 was complaining. They were just giving us an update. Cut them a little slack...they blow a piston without any layover left or a plane flying cover...what do you expect them to do?!?

To Team 20. Thanks for the update. I enjoyed meeting you in Ruby and was curious to know how things turned out. I made it into Fairbanks without any major trouble and caught the tail end of the banquet. Good luck next year!

To Anonymous @ 7:13.... why dont you try and race! I'm sure team 20 was learning the trail so they can do better next year. they weren't the slowest team ether..... team 32 was...after Ruby going northbound all the teams behind them scratched... they were the only team that kept going! and on the trail from Nome to Ruby southbound they were making up lots of time!! So give these young men a break! Because they could beat you any day!

Good job team 20, you guys made it farther then alot of guys wished they can. Next time chose more of a reliable snowmachine eh?(not any doo, ski doo and reliability doesn't belong in the same page) Don't let anyone drag you down, you guys have kahunas to even enter this race and making it that far.

I don't usually get to involved with the people that have no idea about what they are talking about, but I think this time it deserves a comment. This is to address the person that wants to keep slamming the team of Zwink and Spikes. I had the pleasure of running this race with them and talking to them several times along the way. They showed great character and determination and stuck to their plan of crossing the finish line in Fairbanks and finish the greatest race on earth. If not for the unfortunate mechanical failure of there engine they too would have been labled vetrans for next years race. But at the end of the day that is all it really is a "label". Any man or woman that attempts to race the "longest toughest race" and give it the 110% that it takes to make at far as they did regardless of how long it took deserves the respect of the participants and the fans of this race. So I suppose if they would have finished you would have de-graded them for being the slowest. Except that would have been saved for me and my partner team #32. As we where the "slowest" team to finish this amazing race and they where ahead of us at the time they broke. So until you step up to the plate and find the sponsors put it the endless hours of preperation and train 12 months to get ready for this race I believe your comments should be kept to your self. But then again you don't even have what it takes to sign your name to the end of your meaningless comments. Thank you all for letting me and my partner and many others live there dream of racing the "longest toughest race on earth" Chris Downs Team #32.

Thanks Chris #32 for the positive input. As the man that wrote the story said - To finish the Iron Dog is to win.
