MORE THAN $26,000 RAISED FOR ALASKA VETERANS
Iron Dog Raffle Benefits Alaska Combat Veterans
Alaska’s Healing Hearts will receive more than $26,000 from the proceeds raised by the 2012 Iron Dog Raffle. Kendall Toyota of Anchorage and Fairbanks are the presenting raffle sponsor of the 2012 Iron Dog Raffle. Alaska Power Sports, USTravel, Era Alaska, Shirts Up Serigraphics and Odom Corporation all gave generous donations to the 2012 Iron Dog Raffle. It’s through their support that we are able to raise funds for Alaska’s Healing Hearts. Be sure to thank our sponsors!
Kendall Toyota of Anchorage presented the donation at a ceremony held in their Anchorage showroom on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 9:00 A.M. local time.
James Hastings, Secretary at Alaska’s Healing Hearts said, “On behalf of Alaska’s Healing Hearts and the Warriors we serve, we cannot say thank you enough to the Iron Dog Team and the Kendall Toyota Family for their most generous support of Alaska’s Warriors. This is proof positive that when everyone works together, we can truly make a difference, and for that, again, we say thank you.”
Mike Morris, General Manager at Kendall Toyota of Anchorage said, “Kendall is proud to support the 2012 Iron Dog and we are honored to show our gratitude for the sacrifices our military personnel and their families give every day.”

ABOUT ALASKA’S HEALING HEARTS
Alaska’s Healing Hearts year round nationwide outdoor programs include hunting, fishing, and other outdoor recreational programs for our nations brave wounded warriors, these activities are termed “social reintegration” by therapists. They are not just the clinical rehabilitation programs which injured military personnel usually participate in; they also provide disabled Veterans with hope that they can live active and productive lives. Based on our own experiences these programs help bolster confidence and self-esteem, while serving as a venue for them to assimilate with the public. Alaska’s Healing Hearts is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization.
