2013 Unalakleet Teacher
Reid Tulloach, Teacher, Unalakleet, Alaska
My name is Reid Tulloch. I was born and raised in a log cabin in Petersburg, AK. Petersburg is a small Norwegian village between Juneau and Ketchikan. It has about 3000 people and is a very strong commercial fishing community. Now I live in Unalakleet, AK which has a population of around 700. My wife, Angela, and I have two kids, Rogan who is 3 ½, and Weston who is almost 2 years old. I have 3 older brothers who are 8, 10, and 12 years older then me.
In five years I will probably be teaching Shop in Unalakleet like I am now. I’ll have more toys and possibly a house and more kids. I have no idea where I’ll be in twenty years. If I could go anywhere in the world I would go to Europe, Manila in the Phillipines, and Hawaii. During the school year I spend a lot of time with my family. Some fun activites I do include working on my snowmachines or fourwheeler, going out on the machines, crabbing through the ice, playing computer games, watching lots of movies and shows and playing board games. In the summer I go commercial fishing and sometimes travel to see family.
