This is Iron Dog

The Iron Dog is the World’s Longest, Toughest Snowmobile Race and covers more than 2,600 miles as it traverses the Alaskan backcountry. Starting in Big Lake, Alaska Pro racers speed across the Alaska Range to the Yukon River and cut overland toward the Bering Sea coast before reaching the halfway point in Nome. Pro Racers then head North towards Kotzebue then south to finish back in Big Lake. The Expedition Sport class, a non-competitive class, travels 1,100+/-miles from Big Lake to finish in Nome. Participants cover some of Alaska’s most remote and rugged terrain while confronting harsh winter conditions. The race is scheduled to begin with the Expedition Sport Class starting on February 17, 2022 finishing on Feb 22, 2022. Followed by a Pro Class start on February 19, 2022 finishing on Feb 26, 2022.
