ABOUT
The Rookie workshop is for ALL ROOKIES and is MANDATORY. This event is being held in person, any Rookie who lives on the road system in Alaska will be required to attend.
This event will be live streamed for those not able to attend in person. A link to attend the Rookie Workshop online will be sent out at a later date.
The ultimate goal is to familiarize racers/riders with the challenges, safety requirements and risks associated with running the Iron Dog race.
Pro Class Racers:
The first hour of the Rookie Workshop—9:00–10:00 a.m. on December 13th, 2025—will be dedicated specifically to you. Race Marshals will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding the 2026 race rules. Please prepare your questions ahead of time so we can address them efficiently and provide accurate answers.
Rookie Racers:
The full Rookie Workshop will run December 13th, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
